THE MAN BEHIND THE MOVEMENT
“I remember the first coach who believed in me,” Silvas says, eyes lighting up like the Friday night lights he grew up under. “He told me, ‘Jimmy, you’re the greatest football player I’ve ever seen.’ That stuck with me. Still does.”
From that moment, young James knew he wasn’t just meant to play — he was destined to lead.
Now, as the driving force behind the 12th Annual All-American Youth Highschool Combine, Silvas has made it his life’s mission to return the favor. Year after year, he transforms the Las Vegas sports scene into a launchpad for youth athletes with ambition—and heart.
MORE THAN A COMBINE
This year’s event? Unreal.
Hosted by Salad and Go (one of the fastest-growing franchises in the world) and backed by the Las Vegas Nighthawks - Proffesional Indoor Arena Football Team , the event delivered more than football. It delivered a vision.
Athletes walked into a world designed for them — professional-grade training, motivational workshops, and an atmosphere that said: you belong here.
“It’s about showing these kids what’s possible,” Silvas explains. “You give them a taste of greatness—and they start to crave it.”
THE BLUEPRINT TO GREATNESS
What sets Silvas apart isn’t just his résumé — though it’s impressive. He’s trained athletes at every level, mentored countless NFL players, and guided youth toward college scholarships. But it’s his philosophy that resonates.
🗣 “100% or nothing,” he says. “I tell my players: greatness isn’t optional. It’s earned.”
He teaches more than footwork and verticals. Silvas preaches character, discipline, grit, and above all—self-love.

“Every kid should have a shot at college ball,” he says. “If they’re willing to work, I’m willing to show them the way.”
